    We love these!

We run a HVAC company and have a bunch of these in service. They have been great, no failures to date. These units have an adjustable offset that is digital and stored in memory. Before switching to the TMD-10’s, we used a competitor’s product that used a potentiometer to adjust offset. It was difficult to set and would change over time. The TMD-10’s keep their adjustment even through daily commercial use!

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great size and features

FIts ‘comfy’ in my tool tote or pouch.

Able to attach a clip & magnet to the back for hanging up.

Fast calculation and easy to read on bright, sunny days.

Durable piece, however, even with routine use both

thermocouples ended up unusable after less than a year

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Manual information missing/wrong, issues with measurements

We are having an issue with this meter giving different results when two thermocouples are plugged in. Since this might be due to the way it is set up (i.e., a relative reading or something similar) we looked at the manual that came with the meter. The meter is different from the one shown in the manual. We looked at the online version of the manual — the meter is different from that version, as well. There is an icon on the display that is on, and doesn’t show up in either manual. The measurement problem is probably a “feature”, but I can’t make it go away…….
