Product Highlights

Take this clamp meter to extremes. This CAT IV 600 V safety rated analog clamp is a great tool for tough electrical applications. The RS-1007 PRO works well in extreme temperatures (5 °F to 122 °F); where digital clamp LCD screens tend to freeze, this analog clamp measures up to the test. The RS-1007 PRO does not require batteries for measuring Amps and Volts.

This probe in my opinion one of the best

I am a long time user of Amprobe products. The ease of use of there meters is one of the main reasons I use them. My first meter was the the RS-3 which I still own and use to this day. I would definitely recommend any of there products to others. Any tool that lasts 25+ years is worth owning.

Excelent Meter, a real work horse

Over the years I have purchased three of this type Amprobe meter for my airconditioning repair company. The only failure I have ever experenced with one of these (in the 20+ years I have used them) was when I dropped one from a 20 foot ladder. I never repaired that one as it was badly damage but simply bought another, I also own the test leads, case and line splitter for each of them and Although now retired these are still being used for around the house repairs.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

    Highest recommendations

When I first got into the HVAC trade, my parents bought me an Amprobe clamp on analog ammeter. A few years later, it was stolen. I replaced it with another Amprobe analog. Those that say you need to interpret the readings don’t know how to use a meter. This meter is easy to use and reliable. Also, you don’t have to worry about the cold or extreme heat affecting the display or the batteries. Great product! Keep up the good work Amprobe!

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Lot of others on the market but for dependability, accurate and easy to use features you cant beat this analog meter. A meter you can trust every time and it is easy to use for a apprentice or a journey man.

  11. Sodapops

Digital Products are replacing Analog Units

I would put my tool investment into a digital product with a more viersitale clamp probe or rope. This unit will perform for you based on your ability to interpuit the scale. I would say analog meters are becoming sepciality units.

✘ No, I do not recommend this product

  12. timlaw77

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

  13. Jimbo

There are some times when an analog meter works better then a digital.

I use a analog meter for working with street lighting. I can follow a fault on a cable with the analog meter when a digital meter won’t show the spike in the circuit before the circuit breaker trips. If I pass the fault the meter shows nothing. Going from the source of power to the faulted area the meter will show a spike. I still have several of the black RS-3’s in my tool bag and still use them.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.
