Description

The Amprobe HD160C Heavy Duty Multimeter is designed for professional use in harsh environments. Its made using waterproof construction to prevent dirt, grime and moisture from entering the case and causing inaccurate readings or damaging shorts.

Built with tough, fire-retardant thermoplastic that is resistant to grease and chemical spills and with shock-mounted components that are drop resistant to at least 8 feet, the Amprobe HD160C is unusually rugged and reliable. It has an extended voltage measurement capability of 1500 V DC and 1000 V AC, unmatched by any other line of digital multimeters. The extended voltage ranges can withstand transients up to 12 kV, and it also measures temperature.

    What a great Product with unlimited features

    I have been using Amprobe testers since 1972 starting in the electrical trade as a helper. Now a Master Electrician with my own business, I have used many of the different styles of Multi-Meters, but the only one I have ever purchased is Amprobe. The HD160C-IP67 is a versitile instrument that allows me to carry just one instrument instead of several. Checking out panels, resistance and performing HVAC control wiring and trouble shooting, it is a hard instrument to beat. All of the electricians on my jobs and HVAC technicians all carry the one verstile tester the Amprobe HD160C-IP67!

    Great Meter!

    I have been using this meter for over a year while working for a company performing solar field commissioning work. It is highly accurate and reliable. It is absolutely essential for me to have a quality instrument that accurately helps me trouble shoot bad circuits and or panels. It has been exposed to heat and cold, dry, dusty conditions and wet muddy conditions and has not failed me yet.
