this device is one of the wonders i ever read
when i read of this product inmediately i go to my computer and i look for it because i work with water sistems and refrigeration so i use a many devices for making my job but this tool is exactly what i need after i see the product i talk to my partner about looking this product in guatemala but here is imposible to get exactly this one ihave one amprobe analog since 1990 it was a gift from my father and is exelent measuring and lasting so i love them and i like to have this acd-23sw because i now for personal reference is an excelent product

Amprobe ACD-23SW True-rms Swivel is full of handy features required in constraint and less space areas .
Nice tools with nice features required in compact spaces like in ships where other tools is quite difficult to oerate.
I find great and easy to operate this tool in Sea trials inside Control panels , Power Distrubution Boards , Lighting Distrubution Boards , Automation panels , where the space is very less and diffcult to read the Current where cables RYB remains close to each other .
Also its swivel movements helps us to read the values at any angle which is the most important advantage of this tool.

What a great tool as how many times are you available to get your clamp on and not be able to read the readings. Recording levels for their highs and lows alone with temperture makes this a great tool for trouble shooting and finding the problems in the field.

This AMPROBE is AWESOME!! I do agreat deal of Refrigeration and HVAC work and this multi-functioning tool is GREAT!! I had a Fluke before and and it just doesn’t stand up to my new AMPROBE–like I said-I HAD a FLUKE-gave it away after using my new AMPROBE and being hands free is an added plus-its my 3rd hand when I am in tight places. The only way I will replace my ACD-23SW is by having another AMPROBE of greater functions and “moverability”!!!Thanks AMPROBE-keep up the great work!!

If your in the trade then you’ll know quality and this my friends is the cream of the crop. I have been in the trenches and i have been to the summit. As far as a meter having all the beels and whistles this baby has everything all in one. The name speaks for it self,but the tool does anything and everything with just the one tool. Great tool as you would expect from this type of product it is a great buy.

Amprobe ACD-23SW Swivel Clamp Meter
I have been wanting this type of amp clamp meter for years and AMPROBE has finally developed it. I have worked in the HVAC / Electrical trade for almost 30 years, as a field technician, and using electrical meters is required in my daily job duties. I am a HVAC / Electrical Service Instructor, at the Union, so buying and using digital multimeters is a very important part of my career and job. My electrical meters get used & tested by myself and my field service mechanics every day.
Pros:
The test leads have alligator type attachments that you can screw on for troubleshooting.
I found this meter priced reasonable.
The K-Type thermocouple plug on the from of the meter is a great design and easy to access.
We found that this meter is easy to use one handed with the selection switch and hold button placed in a handy location.
The 180-degree rotating head is great in tight troubleshooting locations.
The selection dial is easy to read with clear selection points.
Display light lights up the entire LCD display.
This true RMS model will handle all of my HVAC needs in the field.
I found the display easy to understand and read in tight locations.
I really like the non-contact voltage detection internal to the clamp jaws.
Cons:
I wanted a work light below the clamp jaws for using it in dark locations.
The LCD display light only stays on for 60 seconds.
The case the meter came with should be heavier material and more water resistant material to protect the meter from rain and weather.

Great that has a swivel clamp, but where is the hold buttom for maximum and minimum amp reading??
The meter has great features, and is a great meter for every day use, what it locks and is a big NO,NO, is that this great meter does not have the function to read minimum and maximum amperage, you have to keep looking at the display to guess what was the maximum reading amperage at start any compressor or motor. I rather have this feature, max. and minimum amperage on the meter, than the temperature probe.
Once Amprobe adds this feature to the meter, it will be a 10 start clamp meter.

GREAT HVAC METER
I been looking for a new meter to replace my old fieldpiece SC56, i always been a fieldpiece guy, and when i saw this meter for the price. I couldnt pass it up. So i bought it, been using it only a few days and i can already say, it is all you will need. ONLY thing i miss is the Inrush setting i had on my 56 that this doesnt, or i just havent figured it out. But its okay, after this meter, im looking into getting the Mini amp-25 for quick checks, and alsl the Th-1 WB meter. Amprobe is well worth the price. Everything a HVAC tech will need in 1 meter. I would reccommend this to anyone, and i have to everyone at my work. Thanks Amprobe for the great products and prices!! Keep it up, the industry needs more affortable clamp meters!!!
