Amprobe’s new ACD-20SW Swivel™ Clamp Meter features a patented 180-degree rotating head clamp design allowing easy views of measurements in tight or inconvenient to reach places.

No more handstands at the panel!
The swivel clamp meter is an idea long overdue. I have stood on my head for the last time trying to take a reading without tickling the hot leads in a tight panel or crammed pull box.
The LCD read out is large and clear for the shadowy places we wind up and the clamp is agile enough to weave through a tangle of conductors of almost any size. Its also good for left or right sides when all the contractor gave you was the minimum 30″ wide clearance.
If I was adding anything, it would be a backlit LED or LCD readout and up it to 1000V capacity. Sometimes 600s aren’t 600!
