    Great clamp-on meter for DC Photovoltaic measurements

    The Amprobe AC68C is a great clamp-on meter for DC Photovoltaic measurements, but also works well on the AC side of the PV inverter. I teach Photovoltaic Systems Design, Installation and Maintenance at our local community college. I needed a meter that was quick and easy to use when verifying PV module outputs, without needing to change any of the system wiring. This meter really fills our needs on PV installation demonstration sites–it makes module matching a snap. It is also nice for quick power-production estimates while still on the roof-top.
