Description
The TL36A test lead set contains two vinyl lead wires with two threaded probe tips and two threaded alligator clips for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device in electrical testing applications. The 48″ (with alligator clips attached) lead wires have standard probe tips that are held against the conductor during testing. The alligator clips screw onto the probe tips and have teeth that grip the conductor to provide a more secure, hands-free connection than the test probe tips.

durable, long lasting
Used these probes and test leads for years. Not sure why one user complained about the threads. Never had this problem. What was he doing? The alligator clips are not put on with a wrench but gently by hand. The tips on the probes are not pry bars. Maybe there are some probes that are made of hardened steel? Amprobe is way and above the quality of anything from China on eBay. Highly recommend anything made by these people.
