5 reviews for Amprobe THWD-10 Relative Humidity and Temperature Meter

  1. eyemareader

    worth it

Faster than earlier versions making it awesome for calculating super heat and sub cooling requirements without having to wait. Yes I know you should wait 20-25 minutes however in the real world that sometimes gets shortened. I like it.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

  2. HVAC7171

    Great Tool for interior diagnosis

Very useful for advising on interior ambient conditions to help with customer understanding of system operations and the importance of HVAC Maintenance.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

  3. NYTESTER1

    Excellent Tool

Real quality tool with excellent features. Great for saved reports and files and record keeping. Well designed. Tried and compared others, this it the top.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

  4. fishinggonebad

    perfect in everyway

just what we needed for a quick measurement in surgery rooms.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

  5. DanC

    Unwieldy features

I was testing some of the buttons but when I wanted to quit no button worked, even on/off so I had to take out a battery. Then I read about holding the Min/Max button for two seconds. The on/off button should always be an emergency exit.

I have a laboratory mercury thermometer which I consider a reliable reference for temperature. Comparing the THWD-10 with that shows it is about one degree low. That could be in the noise so it is acceptable.

I have no way to check the relative humidity. I do like its ability to read RH below 10% since I live in Las Vegas in the southwest desert.

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.
