It is the best clamp meter in the AMP-300 Series line including all the features of the AMP-320 plus a work light, peak hold, CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 1000 V safety rating and large 2.0 inch (51 mm) jaw. HVAC technicians will find the temperature and capacitance measurements they need plus DC Microamps for testing flame sensors. It also had core motor testing capabilities such as motor rotation, 3-phase sequence testing, and inrush current measurement for motor start-up monitoring. The low pass filter allows you to accurately measure current and voltage on variable frequency drives. The Amp-Tip function allows for precise measurement of current down to the tenth of an Amp, enabling accurate current measurement of both large and small diameter wires. You do not have to carry along separate meters to make electrical tests, whether it is AC or DC circuit being tested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this New Meter. This new Meter works Great. I do miss the Extendo leads from my old. Amp Probe ? Also I wish this Meter had A Magnet on it like my Amp Probe Mulit Meter. All And A Great Meter I love all of the Features that it has. I Use this For HVAC work. Had to finally go Digital even though my old. Analog Meter is still working. Amp 3a, Keep up the good Work I Have Used AMP Meters for years. Always top Quality and Rugged. Keep up the good Work!
