The ACD-14 PLUS clamp meter works as both an HVAC multimeter and electrical multimeter with a versatile set of features, including microamps, capacitance, frequency and temperature with included thermocouple.
The dual displays show amps and volts simultaneously, useful for measuring voltage drop under load. The thinner jaws of this digital clamp multimeter enable access to tight measurement areas and still handles conductors up to 1″ (25 mm).

Great little unit
I work on Heidelberg printing presses and when i need a meter the ACD-14 takes care of it.
This meter is a nice compact unit, no need for separate plug in amp probe, this saves space and time.
Very handy to have a temp probe from time to time when i need it also.
Price was very good as well, i am replacing a Fluke meter with this unit.

I received it about a month or so ago, it does pretty much all the things I want it to do and it saves me room in my toolbox and makes it lighter because I don’t have to pack the extra testers for temperature, capacitance, etc. I like it a lot!

This meter leaves nothing to want for.
I have owned this meter about 5 years. I work on welders and generators, this meter replaced 3 meters and a digital tach. The hz.setting is worth it weight in gold, setting engine rpm has never been easier. You can read current and voltage at the same time. Capacitor testing is as accurate as it gets.

had this meter for over 9 months now i like how it doesnt take up room in bag and that it has the dual display, couple things i wish this meter would change/add to it to make it better is when you hit select make the icon a litttle bigger, have a built in light on the display and install a magnet on the back of it.

Durability is non-existent
Over the last 11 years I have gone through 5 of these meters & have paid $68 a few times to have it swapped. But it is not cost effective. The 1 year warranty is insufficient. Which goes back to quality & durability. My meter Previous to these last more then 5yrs. I Still have my dads analog meter which is over 30yts old. Would love to see the quality & durability of products Amprobe used to have back again.

I have had this product for 7 years, it works great, however due to the clamp feature it is too expensive for my employer to have calibrated annually. So now i have to find a different amprobe DMM without the clamp feature. Wish I could keep using this meter since it is compact for airline travel.
