An “oldy” but a “goody” ………………….This tool does everything it claims to do, and once you get accustomed to its use, MORE!
I have this set for at least 4 years and it has been a lifesaver for identifying opens…..shorts….grounds and just using it to trace a wire through the wall. I will give you a great live example: customer lost neutral and circuit was still live at the receptacles so I hooked onto wires and traced from outside of sheetrock, and as it turns out the customer had installed a Murphy bed and used 3″ lag bolts from an adjacent wall. The line stopped at a spot in the sheetrock which made no sense. Found jacket severed and lag had pierced romex jacket. It had worked for many months until it finally got hot enough that the lag bolt no longer carried the continuity. Amprobe your tools are 2nd to none!
